MEET OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR!

Hi, my name is Damon Darrell and I am the creative director of Monarch Motion & Media. I want to take a moment to personally thank you for visiting our site and considering Monarch Motion & Media to tell your story.

​

As the creative director of Monarch Motion & Media, my job is to guide the company's overall vision and manage each of our client’s projects to ensure that the imagery we provide looks and feels cohesive with their overall brand and business goals.

I work hard to make sure the video content we produce incorporates the necessary elements needed to spark engagement and cause viewers to take some kind of action. Oh - and I occasionally jump behind the camera when necessary!

 

I received my B.S. in Graphic Communications from Kean University. That was the beginning of my creative, yet unusual journey. Of course with any journey, one can take many paths. With a creative background and a strong passion for the arts, I surprisingly found myself on the road to Corporate America. Today, having almost a decade of experience in commercial banking, I have learned the value of working with the intention of driving results. I have learned to incorporate the SMART goal model into everything that I do. 

 

A career in commercial banking is very intense and often very competitive. In order to be successful in this type of environment, I learned to produce results under tight deadlines and challenging circumstances. What does this mean for you?

It means that I am up for the challenge when it comes to bringing your vision into focus. I understand both worlds...the creative world and the business world. I understand what looks good and what drives results. My years spent in commercial banking has given me useful insight into many industries. This experience allows me to understand our client’s unique circumstances and gives me the opportunity to offer solutions that solve their problems and exceed their expectations. I have also received a Master's Certificate in Digital Marketing from Full Sail University. This means that I have additional tools in my arsenal and I am ready to help you overcome your marketing challenges!

Over the past few years, I’ve spent a lot of time working in the industry on commercial and film sets. I’ve got hands on experience behind the camera and I’m never afraid to dive in and get my hands dirty! I’ve also written and directed a short and an award winning feature film, so I know exactly what it takes to successfully bring an idea to an audience. My goal is to offer our clients the best possible experience by providing video solutions that drive results!
